I use an approach called Motivational Interviewing to conduct my assessment. This consists of asking open-ended questions and offering frequent reflections to ensure that I truly understand your concerns and experience. Through this process, I believe you would become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations, and will gain insight into your situation. If you have had therapy in the past, I would love to learn what did and did not work for you. Gathering all this information will give us a promising start of the work ahead.
